Xenogears Gamer Auction

My previous gamer auction for Suikoden 2 was a success, and now I’m selling another to make additional room in my gaming life. This time it’s Xenogears published by Square (now known as Square-Enix) and released for the Playstation. This game isn’t nearly as rare as other JRPGS, selling over a million copies in it’s original run, but Xenogears can still sell for $40 to $50 on ebay. You can check out my auction if interested (Link removed, see below).

Xenogears features a named protagonist in Fei Fong Wong who is initially on a journey to remember his past. Yep that’s right, Square is big fans of amnesia. He of course, with a number of friends and allies must go out on a search for his origins after his village is destroyed.  Battles make use of the Action Time Battles made famous by other Square titles like Chrono Trigger. Also, the game’s story is hugely influenced by the likes of Sigmund Freud and Friedrich Nietzsche.  Several references are made to them and a few other psychologists and philosophers.

Again, this is a played copy. Unlike some collectors I play my games so it’s safe to assume it’s wrapping has been taken off. Although, I am an adult and do take care of my games, therefore, blemishes on the discs are minimal if not non-existent. If interested head to my Xenogears Ebay listing (Link removed, see below) and get your bid in. Further details are available there.

Update: This game has been sold. When I originally set up these auction pages on my blog, i didn’t anticipate people would still find the page and click over to my now completed auction. Sorry if this is a disappointment for you, however, I would still highly recommend checking out Ebay for Xenogears as there are always a number of copies of the game being sold there.
